Alley Cats are Bike Messenger races where you show up at a location, you are given a list of addresses, the first person to reach all the destinations in any order wins. Sprints are drag racing.

The Sunday Sprints and their relation to the Ubomb 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 5
Who is in charge of the schedule for the Sunday Sprints?

I need to find out some sort of a schedule so we can plan the Ubomb which is also on Sundays.

I am throwing out a 3pm time for Sunday Sprints, but its not my call on the event. I figure 3 pm would still provide enough light to do 'em as 5 pm is generally dark.

But you all decide, so we can plan other bicycle events and have a good number of people at both events.

They're starting at 4. From my experience from last month, I'm not sure there is a set schedule. It just might have to be playing it by ear on the day of. I think they usually try to have it on the second or third Sunday each month, depending on when they have their group meeting and get organized. I'm not sure if they have a "leader". I think its more a group of people that work together. As they've had Sunday for some time now, I think it would be appropriate to work around their ride instead of the other way around.

Why don't we just do the Ubomb at 6pm on Sunday and stay with it? It is confusing to keep moving the time all over the place, and hurts our efforts to introduce new people to it.

If another event overlaps, it flip a coin and chose which one to go to. Or rather, some of us can go Ubomb, and other individuals of another event can catch us on another run.

Then everyone wins, and we still have a solid Ubomb.

Looks like 7:00 would work fine TRAX wise.
