However, most the events we plan on holding during The Bicycle Porn Tour are safe, good clean wholesome bike fun for all. Here is the listing of other events:

mini bike gymkhana - bicyclist compete in a course on mini(childrens) bikes.

midnight mass - critical mass gone midnight and wild.

luncheon/freakbike workshop - food and freaking bikes out chopper, tall, etc. style.

tallie cat - alley cat race on tall/freak bikes.

ubomb - ride trax up to the UofU, bomb down on bikes (minis are popular).

The events we need help with especially are the mini bike gymkhana, tallie cat and probably the freakbike workshop. We might also add other events, but these are the main events.

So far me and Kemmer are in the throws of planning this all out and getting it worked out, but I don't think we can get it all done without help from others.

Maybe we could throw in the Hustle into the mix of scheduled events too? That would be rad.

I got a new freak bike thats just needs a lot of welding a little design and some bolts. hopefully it turns out the way i intend it...

The Healthy Planet Rally needs you this Saturday!


We need 350 cyclists to kick off the Healthy Planet March and Rally on April 5th in downtown Salt Lake City. Why 350? That’s the number of CO2 parts per million we need to sustain a healthy atmosphere. Grab your bike and a dozen friends and join Rocky Anderson, environmentalist Peter Miguel Camejo and was vet Chris Conway along with slam poets and live music from noon till 2:30. That’s at 451 South State Street.

Cyclists will lead the noon march, so get to the SLC Government Center before noon. Dress for high visibility.

You know you care about peace, health care and healthy air. Come pedal for peace and shake your booty at the Healthy Planet Rally. Check it out online at agenda08.org. Posters and information are posted there.

This will be the first 350 event in the U.S. It's a global movement and Salt Lake leads the way.

the impaler is at the bike collective and its glory will be passed on to someone else, unless you rescue it before this week ends. i put a yellow tag on it, but it will expire. its located by the last work bench and the end of the 'showroom' bikes, lonely in the corner.
