"The European Union (EU) is planning to impose anti-dumping duty on bicycle imported from Vietnam from July on. The European Commission (EC) proposes a duty rate of 34.5% on Vietnamese bicycle. The basis for this rate is an increase from 150,000 units to 1.5 million units of bicycles imported from Vietnam. However, the European Two-wheel Retailers Association (ETRA) said that there were no signs to prove the anti-dumping actions by Vietnamese exporters in the EU market. The association has also issued a warning for possible negative impacts on the market if an anti-dumping tax level is applied to Vietnam made bicycles." (Full Article)
